Don't waste time collecting...just kill 'em all and keep the lionfish biomass in the reef food chain. A speared lionfish causes a feeding frenzy...moray eel, groupers, sharks, triggerfish eat lionfish. Wounded, dead lionfish will prompt more species of fish to HUNT and eat lionfish.

I always thought that Lionfish were bigger but I’m surprised at how small they really are, no matter what, they need to be gotten rid of before they eat everything around them.
